AMANDA STARTS SHOOTING SECOND SEASON OF SCREEN WARS
Season Two of the Emmy-winning television series SCREEN WARS has begun shooting with Amanda Melby as the host. The opening homages will be shot first, with filmmaker interviews and hosting to follow. Season Two returns to AZ-TV in January, 2007.

AMANDA WRAPS PRODUCTION ON FEATURE “NETHERBEAST, INCORPORATED”
Amanda just wrapped 10-days working on the feature film NETHERBEAST, INCORPORATED directed by Dean Ronalds and written by Bruce Dellis. The film is a comedy about an office full of vampires (or Netherfolk, as they prefer to be called). Amanda appears as an office worker (Hazel Von Borscht) who has been around since the 50s. Look for her in the office scenes with Darrell Hammond, Steve Burns, Jason Mewes and Dave Foley as well as the flashback scenes from the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s.

AMANDA NOMINATED FOR AN EMMY FOR WORK AS HOST ON SCREEN WARS
Amanda is nominated for a 2006 Emmy from the NATAS – Rocky Mountain Chapter – for her work as a host on the weekly television show SCREEN WARS. The Emmy ceremony will be held October 7 at the Valley Ho in Scottsdale.

AMANDA IS CAST IN FEATURE “NETHERBEAST, INCORPORATED”
Amanda is cast and begins an 8-day shoot on the feature film NETHERBEAST, INCORPORATED directed by Dean Ronalds. The film stars Darrell Hammond, Dave Foley, Steve Burns, Amy Davidson, Jason Mewes, Judd Nelson and Robert Wagner. Brian Ronalds and Chris LaMont produce.

Amanda shot August 2 and August 5 for her role of Amanda in Angel Ruiz’s short film BONDAGE. The film continues shooting a few more weeks.

AMANDA IS ELECTED TO ARIZONA SAG BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Amanda was asked to run for a seat on the Board of Directors for the Arizona Screen Actors Guild. She was elected and will serve a one-year term.

Amanda is cast as the supporting role of Amanda in Angel Ruiz’s short film BONDAGE. Shooting will be 2 days for Amanda in the beginning of August.
