A TRIO of films that feature Amanda Melby (Kerry and Angie, Cult Status, and Covet) will be screened as part of the Arizona Showcase screening at the 2012 Phoenix Film Festival.
Kerry and Angie, which Amanda directed, is about a recently widowed middle-aged woman who disrupts a Christening service as her sensible friend tries to reign her in.
Cult Status, features Amanda as the character “Aunt Marley” in this dark comedy with an unexpected twist. The project was directed by Kevin Herrmann.
Covet, features Amanda as a crooked cop who tries to take down a super-natural killer. The film was directed by 2007 Arizona Filmmaker of the Year, Paul DeNigris.
